Dr. Andrew Foggitt

A consultant orthopaedic surgeon trained in the UK, Andrew Foggitt attended Liverpool University Medical School before completing his orthopaedic and surgical residency in the Wessex area of the South of England. In November 2002, he accepted a Consultant position in Winchester, UK, as a General Orthopedic Surgeon with a specialty interest in foot and ankle surgery after passing the orthopaedic exit exam in 2000. This was a new position, so he established a foot and ankle service. Because it was so successful, he had to give up his general orthopaedic practise to focus solely on foot and ankle surgery. He did this for more than 19 years before moving to the Burjeel Hospital in Dubai full-time to serve the local population's foot and ankle needs. In addition to nurses, physiotherapists, podiatrists, orthotists, and a committed back-room team, he is supported by an integrated hospital team that offers a holistic service.
