Dr. Deepak Krishnamurthy

Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Deepak Krishnamurthy practises in Bangalore's Sakra World Hospital. He is one of Bangalore's top cardiologists and has been involved with Sakra World Hospital since its start. He also played a key role in the establishment of the Department of Cardiology. Since graduating with an MBBS from JSS Medical College, University of Mysore, where he won numerous university gold medals in nearly every topic from the first to the last year, Dr. Deepak has been an excellent, remarkable student and achiever. He earned his MD (General Medicine) from SMS Medical College in Jaipur after finishing his internship and placing highly in the All India MD/MS entrance exams. One of Bangalore's top interventional cardiologists, he specialises in difficult angioplasties and emergency primary angioplasty, having successfully completed over 4000 angioplasties to date. Dr. Deepak has also performed numerous peripheral angioplasties, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, and paediatric cardiac procedures. He is skilled in PDA and Atrial and Ventricular Septal Defect (ASD/VSD) device closure procedures. Additionally, he has implanted more than 500 CRT, ICD, and pacemaker devices.
