Dr. George P. Abraham

Dr. George P. Abraham has personally conducted over 2500 kidney transplants over a 25-year span. He specialises in the surgical treatment of complicated urological problems. Has 32 years of endourological surgery experience. He is the world's third surgeon to conduct a living donor laparoscopic renal transplant. He also performed Kerala's first Cadaver Transplant, PCNL, Lap Donor Nephrectomy 3D laparoscopy. He pioneered endourological operations in Kerala, performing 15,000 of them. He has successfully completed over 8500 PCNL cases, 12000 URS cases, and over 12000 TURP cases. More than 8000 laparoscopic urological procedures and roughly 2500 renal transplants have been performed. He Has over 13 years of expertise in laparoscopic surgery and has conducted over 9000 laparoscopic urological operations successfully. For his contributions to urology, he has received numerous awards, including the Bharat Chikitsak Ratan Award, the Bharat Vikas Ratna Award, and the Lifetime Health Achievement Award. He held the first 3D Laparoscopic urology workshop in India, 3D Lapendofusion, to a resounding success. For three years, he was a national board-affiliated postgraduate instructor who was actively interested in academics throughout his career.
