Dr Gokulnath

Dr. Gokulnath is a seasoned nephrologist with over three decades of expertise in the field. He has extensive expertise in nephrology transplantation, having served as professor and head of nephrology at St John's Medical College for nearly a decade prior to joining Apollo Hospitals. He has served as president of many professional organisations, including the Indian Society of Peritoneal Dialysis and the Indian Society of Nephrology-Southern Chapter. He has been a member and chair of committees drafting guidelines for treatment of kidney diseases, as well as a member and chair of many national decision-making bodies in the field of nephrology and transplantation. For his contribution in the field of nephrology while serving in the Indian Air Force, he received the presidential award from the President of India in the year 2000. (VSM)
