Dr Harjinder Singh Bhatoe

Brig Harjinder Singh Bhatoe received his MBBS from the famous Armed Forces Medical College in Pune in 1978. In 1986, he completed his Master of Surgery (General Surgery) at Army Hospital Delhi Cantt. In 1991, he completed his neurosurgery residency and M Ch Neurosurgery at Chandigarh's Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research. Following that, he worked in the Armed Forces' tertiary referral centres. Professor and Head, Department of Neurosurgery, Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, and Head of Department of Neurosurgery, Army Hospital (R & R), Delhi Cantt. Brig Bhatoe, a neurosurgeon with nearly three decades of expertise, is particularly skilled in microneurosurgery and keyhole surgery, for which he received training in Mainz, Germany. He has one of the most extensive backgrounds in this sector in the country. Neurooncology, vascular neurosurgery, paediatric neurosurgery, and spinal surgery are among his specialties.
