Dr. Lakshmi Chirumamilla

Doctor of Medicine (OBG), Fellow in Assisted Conception (Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh, UK), Fellow in Reproductive Endocrinology (St. George's Hospital, London, UK), and Doctor of Family and Social Research (UK) Since August 2014, the renowned doctor Dr. Lakshmi Chirumamilla has served as a consultant at Nova IVF Fertility Clinics in Hyderabad. She has worked in the field of infertility for 15 years; prior to that, she spent 6 years working in gynaecology. She has assisted in the birth of more than 10,000 children in India and the UK. Her research interests include minimal stimulation IVF and natural cycle IVF, which are both cost-effective IVF methods, as well as male infertility, women with poor ovarian reserves, endometriosis, recurrent IVF/implantation failure, and these topics. But Dr. Lakshmi is renowned for her expertise in treating patients with infertility issues, including polycystic ovarian syndrome and fibroids. Infertility caused by the male partner, which frequently goes unnoticed in many infertile couples, is another area of expertise for Dr. Lakshmi. She has always prioritised the needs of her patients, enabling those for whom the prospect of parenthood seemed unlikely to experience the joy of it. In order to ensure that patients receive the best care possible, she also performs hysteroscopies, both diagnostic and operatively. Additionally, she has considerable surgical expertise in procedures like TESA and PESA (Percutaneous Epididymal Sperm Aspiration), which are used to retrieve sperm from the testicles (testicular sperm Aspirations). Every year, Dr. Chirumamilla serves as a mentor to a new fellow, passing along her wealth of knowledge and becoming a key figure in the training of numerous doctors.
