He received both his Master's and PHMD degrees from Al Ain Shams University in Cario, Egypt, where he also graduated.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Al Ain Shams University employs Professor Mohamed Osama as a Lecturer. In many IVF clinics in Cairo, he worked as an IVF consultant after receiving his training in IVF at Al Demerdash Hospital. In the area of infertility, particularly in the Induction of Ovulation and Uterine Receptivity, he has published widely. He belongs to the Egyptian Fertility and Sterility Society as well.
Dr. Osama is the author of numerous abstracts, articles, and book chapters on IVF in addition to more than 30 peer-reviewed papers in reproductive medicine that have been published in prestigious medical journals. At numerous national and international fertility conferences and meetings, he organised, spoke at, and presided over sessions. Ovarian reserve tests, assisted conception, improving ovarian stimulation protocols and the success of IVF, recurrent miscarriages, recurrent implantation failure, and pre-implantation genetic screening & diagnosis are some of his current clinical and research interests. With a high success rate of 72% for IVF/ICSI cycles, Dr. Osama is well-known in the medical community. He is more concerned with cases involving Repetitive Pregnancy Loss (RPL), menopause, or just the age of the couple.
