Associate Director of the Department of Neurointerventional Surgery, Neurointerventional Surgeon, and Appreciated Institute Scholar. Shahid Beheshti University awarded him a medical degree in 1995. completed a residency in 2000 at the Shahid Beheshti University Hospital in Tehran in diagnostic neurology and interventional neuroradiology/endovascular neurosurgery. completed a residency in stroke, neurointervention, carotid doppler sonography, and TCCS at the National Cardiovascular Center in Osaka, Japan. after completing a fellowship, a teacher in interventional neuroradiology. joined Nikan and Mehr hospital while holding the position of director of neurointerventional radiology at Milad Hospital Medical Center in Tehran. Treatment of acute strokes, the management of intracranial atherosclerotic disease, brain aneurysms, carotid and vertebral artery stenting, arteriovenous malformations and dural arteriovenous fistulas, and arteriovenous malformations are clinical interests. In addition to imaging selection for patients with acute ischemic stroke prior to mechanical intervention, research interests also include risk factor evaluation in triage of unruptured brain aneurysms. Additionally, he frequently gives talks on these and other relevant subjects in his own country as well as other countries.
