Dr Raveen Kandan

Consultant cardiologist Dr. Raveen Kandan has extensive training in both general and interventional cardiology. He is a full-time employee of the Bristol Heart Institute's regional heart attack service and a member of the consultant team that provides round-the-clock emergency care at the Royal United Hospital Bath. In 2005, Raveen graduated with honors from Bristol Medical School and pursued postgraduate cardiology and medical studies in the Southwest. His area of expertise is coronary intervention, which involves treating coronary disease with medications, balloons, and stents. His interventional training included fellowships in Malaysia and Japan, and he has written book chapters, review articles, and presented his work globally. Raveen stands out among other interventional cardiologists since she has a solid background in echo cardiography and is BSE recognized. He is dual accredited in General Internal Medicine and a member of the local pulmonary hypertension team. With such a wide variety of knowledge, he is able to assess patients who are experiencing chest discomfort, dyspnea, palpitations, fainting, and other symptoms completely and thoroughly.
