BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Archbold graduated from The London Hospital Medical College in 1992 with honors in clinical surgery, clinical medicine, and fundamental clinical sciences. St. Bartholomew's Hospital and The London Chest Hospital served as the foundation for his postgraduate training in cardiology. He received an MD from the University of London for his work studying heart rhythm problems following cardiac surgery. In 2004, Dr. Archbold was hired as a consultant. He is the Lead Cardiologist at Newham University Hospital and works as an Interventional Cardiologist at Barts Heart Centre, St. Bartholomew's Hospital. He belongs to a number of local and international clinical expert organizations. He is the chair of the British Cardiovascular Society Guidelines & Practice Committee and served as the lead cardiologist for the North East London Cardiac Network from 2008 to 2014. Dr. Archbold treats patients with various forms of cardiovascular issues, including excessive blood pressure, palpitations, dyspnea, and chest pain. At The London Independent Hospital, The Wellington Hospital, and Barts Heart Centre, he does coronary angiography and coronary stent treatments. He is an authority on patient optimization for non-cardiac surgery.
