Dr. Sanjay Singh Negi

He holds the distinction of being the first to start a successful liver transplant programme in the public sector, as well as the first to establish the only MCI approved MCh programme in HPB Surgery. FACS, or Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, has been bestowed to him. He has a long history of publishing in high-impact international publications. His work is well-regarded in the worldwide community, as evidenced by his active involvement in numerous meetings and nomination as a member of editorial boards and reviewers for prestigious publications. He is an expert in laparoscopic surgery, hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery, and liver transplantation. The European Board of Surgery, in partnership with the European Society of Organ Transplantation, has awarded him an Honorary Diploma in Transplantation Surgery in appreciation of his contributions to the area of transplantation surgery. He is the first Indian to receive such an honorary award in this regard.
