Dr Tan Peng Hui

He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Singapore Dental Journal and a part-time lecturer in endodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry at the National University of Singapore. Dr. Tan is most renowned for being Singapore's first forensic dentist and for his extensive volunteer work with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). Among his honours are the National Day Commendation Medal (Military), the SAF Overseas Medal (Non-operational), the SAF Tsunami Relief Operation Medal (2004), the Minister of Health Award for the Tsunami Relief Operation (2005), the Letter of Commendation (Taiwan F-5F Crash) in 2007, the 2011 Minister of Health 10-year Volunteer Award, and the Bar to the SAF Overseas Service Medal, New Zealand 2011.
