Professor Geeta Nargund

At St. George's Hospital in London, Professor Geeta Nargund serves as Senior Consultant Gynecologist and Lead Consultant for Reproductive Medicine services. In the area of reproductive medicine, Professor Nargund has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed articles, including abstracts, and several book chapters. She is a pioneer in the fields of Natural and Mild IVF and Advanced Ultrasound Technology in Reproductive Medicine and is a British Fertility Society (BFS) and Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (RCOG) London-accredited trainer for infertility and gynecological ultrasound special skills modules. The International Society for Mild Approaches in Assisted Reproduction (ISMAAR), a UK registered charity, is presided over by Professor Nargund. In the realm of assisted reproductive technology (ART), she has been the voice for women's choice, health, and education through her leadership role. She advocates for more accessible, less risky, and safer ART. The WHO (World Health Organization) expert sub-group on infertility guidelines included Professor Nargund as a member. She served as the Chair of the ESHRE Special Task Force on ""Mild ART"" and is a member of the steering committee of the Special Task Force on ""Infertility in Developing Countries"" established by the organization. She frequently accepts speaking invitations to national and international scientific conferences.
