Assoc Prof Ilhami Soykan Barlas

In Istanbul, Turkey, Dr. Soykan Barlas was born in 1977. He graduated from the esteemed Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine in 2003 and then finished his residency at the Okmeydani Training and Research Hospital, where he became a general surgeon specialist. After completing his residency, Dr. Barlas trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery in Scotland and was recognised by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey for his contributions to the development and research of the Lütfi Krdar Training and Research Hospital Burn Center. Then, as part of his obligation to his nation, Dr. Barlas joined Inebolu State Hospital in Kastamonu, where he worked as a specialist in internal medicine and general surgery. He took a post at Florence Nightingale Hospital in 2013, after returning to Istanbul, and joined one of the best general surgery and kidney transplant groups in the nation. He has since carried out a variety of intricate gastrointestinal, colorectal, and abdominal operations. He has considerable experience in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery and the most recent cutting edge methods in addition to his expertise in kidney transplant.
