Dr Alka Kriplani

Dr. Alka Kriplani has over 42 years of expertise as a gynaecologist, gyne-lap surgeon, and fertility expert. The Government of India awarded her the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award, in 2015, and the Dr. B. C. Roy Award in 2007. She also received the Rashtriya Gaurav Award (2007), the Dr. Nimish Shelat Research Prize in Reproductive Endocrinology (2010), and the DGF Women of the Year Award (2010). She has given 770 guest lectures on diverse clinical themes in India and overseas. Dr. Kriplani has 380+ scientific publications and 403 abstract articles in national and international journals to her credit. She's also a published author, with four novels to her credit. She is the President of the Gynecological Endocrine Society of India (GESI), the Delhi Gynaecological Endoscopic Society (DGES), the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Delhi (AOGD), and the former President of the Federation of Obstetricians and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI). She is also an editor at Asian Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology Practice and the National Corresponding Editor at the Journal. Reproductive Endocrinology, Gynecological Endoscopy, Fetal Medicine, High-Risk Pregnancy, Infertility, and Minimally Invasive Surgery are among her specialties.
