Dr. Ameya Udyavar

Dr. Ameya Udyavar specialises in the treatment of heart failure and irregular heartbeats (called arrhythmias). He is skilled in performing EP tests and ablation of SVT and VT-type arrhythmias. He specialises in implanting devices such as implanted loop recorders for syncope patients and pacemakers/defibrillators biventricular pacing for patients with heart failure. He is one of the city's few cardiac electrophysiologists with training in mapping arrhythmias with a focus on scar VT and atrial fibrillation ablation. He also does angioplasty and coronary angiography. In cardiac electrophysiology and devices, Dr. Ameya Udyavar had training in Taiwan and Australia.
