Postgraduate surgical experience spanning more than 23 years, including locations in India, Europe, and North America. Over ten years as a consultant neurosurgeon, first at Apollo Hospitals in India and then at Liverpool, United Kingdom. Cardiff University in the UK has recognised my work on the genetic profiling of paediatric brain cancers as Basic Science research. demonstrated the capacity to translate fundamental science research from the bedside to the bedside in order to tackle clinical difficulties. Clinical neurosurgery, particularly in paediatrics, spine, and neuro-oncology, and the capacity to do translational research addressing particular clinical issues are the core competencies.
