Dr. Anil Bhan

Dr. Bhan is a renowned cardiovascular surgeon and a graduate of Srinagar's Medical College (Best outgoing graduate-Gold Medalist). In India, he has the most experience with aortic surgery. In the realm of cardiac surgery, he has devised and produced over 50 surgical devices. Dr. Bhan was a member of the team that performed India's first successful heart transplant (1994). He is credited with establishing three cardiac surgical programmes: Putta-parthi in 1992, Whitefield in 2001, and the Max Heart and Vascular Institute in Saket in 2002. (2004). He has performed over 15,000 cardiac and vascular surgeries with good results, placing him among the world's best.
