Dr. Anil Heroor received his medical degree from KEM Hospital and his post-doctoral training at LTMMC Hospital in Sion, Mumbai. After receiving the Wockhardt medal for being first in LTMMC's MS(Gen Surgery) programme, he underwent additional training for cancer surgery at TATA Memorial Hospital. He also received in-depth training at KURUME University Hospital in Japan and Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York, USA. A. Heroor's primary field of expertise is minimal access surgery.
