Dr. Anirudh Jagannath

Dr. Aniruddha Jagannath graduated with honours from Bangalore Medical College and pursued his ambition of becoming a neurosurgeon. For six years, he received his education at the famed NIMHANS. He specialises in the treatment of headaches, fits (epilepsy), and other neurological diseases. He also addresses back and neck discomfort. In these circumstances, his emphasis is on proper diagnosis and non-surgical treatment options (as far as possible). He specialises in skull base surgery (pituitary tumours), which involves removing the adenoma through the nose. He also performs on the spine with a tiny incision (minimally invasive spine surgery) for slip disc and spondylolysis, with a shorter recovery period and smaller incisions. He also performs surgery for brain tumours in both adults and children, trigeminal neuralgia with facial pain, cerebral aneurysms, and brachial plexus injuries on a regular basis. He is also an expert in endoscopic techniques for paediatric hydrocephalus (ETV). In Ghent, Belgium, he expanded his expertise of skull base and endoscopic surgery. He is eager to learn more and keeps his expertise up to date. He was a visiting fellow at Ohio University and Aurora Neurosciences in the United States, where he received specialised training in robotic neurosurgery.
