Dr Arunabha Sengupta

Arunabha Sengupta, MD, is a surgical oncologist with more than 40 years of experience. He is currently employed by Apollo Gleneagles Cancer Hospital in Salt Lake, Kolkata, as a consultant surgical oncologist. He has served as a resident medical officer for a number of reputable organisations, including Thakurpukur's Cancer Center & Welfare Home. Cancer Center & Welfare Home until 2003 as a Visiting Surgeon, and then as a Consultant Surgical Oncologist, In-Charge of the Department of Surgical Oncology, Kothari Medical Centre, AMRI hospital Dhakuria. In Kolkata, surgical oncology has been practised for more than 25 years, during which time numerous difficult cases of breast, head and neck, and abdominal cancer have been treated. He was awarded a fellowship by the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, the National Institutes of Health in Washington, the Free University Hospital in Amsterdam, the Christie Hospital in Manchester, and The Memorial Regional Cancer Hospital, Miami USA.
