Dr. B Ramesh

Dr. B Ramesh was a Cardiology Professor at the Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology in Bangalore. He began working at this institute in 1987 as a registrar in DM Cardiology, obtained his DM in 1989, was promoted to Assistant Professor in 1990, and Professor in 1995 before retiring in 2016. He mentors DM cardiology fellows from around India. He is a pioneering Interventional Cardiologist from Bangalore, having conducted hundreds of Angioplasties, Balloon Mitral Valvuloplasties, and pacemaker implantations throughout the course of his 29-year career. He has joined Apollo Hospital, B.G Road, Bangalore, as professor and director of the department of cardiology, coordinator for the DNB cardiology programme, and consultant cardiologist. In 2011, he established his own Ramesh Cardiology Clinic in Banashankari 2nd stage, featuring cutting-edge capabilities for heart diagnostics and therapy.
