Dr Bastab Ghosh

Dr. Bastab Ghosh is a renowned Urologist and Senior Uro Cancer Surgeon in eastern India, as well as a competent academician. He is regarded as one of the best laparoscopic surgeons in the region. He is one of the few Uro Cancer Surgeons who does Advanced Laparoscopic / Minimally Invasive and Reconstructive Uro Cancer Surgery, such as laparoscopic prostate cancer and laparoscopic kidney cancer surgeries. He also does significant reconstructive urology and endo urology procedures such as LASER prostate/stone surgery and urethroplasty. After completing his training at JIPMER, he travelled to the United States for a fellowship in prostate cancer surgery (Robotics). Dr. Ghosh completed his observer Fellowship in Uro-oncology at the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute in New Delhi. He has been an Assistant Professor at IPGMER and SSKM hospital for almost 5 years.
