Dr. Bhuvaneswara Raju Basina

Dr. BSV Raju is a brain & spine surgeon at Aster Prime Hospital in Hyderabad and is regarded as one of the greatest neurosurgeons in the city. In 1989, he graduated with his MBBS from Rangaraya Medical College in Kakinada. He earned his DNB and MS in orthopaedics from Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam in 1992. Dr. Raju earned his MCh from the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad, in 1996. He also does spine surgery in Hyderabad. In 1998, Dr. BSV Raju finished the US Medical License Examination (USMLE) certification programme. Later, in 2003, he finished the Stanford University Spine & Peripheral Nerve Fellowship and the Wayne State University, Detroit, USA, Spine Fellowship. He has received honours from the Association of Spine Surgeons of India and has been well recognised for his contributions to spine surgery. Dr. Raju has held significant roles in his field, including secretary and treasurer of the Andhra Pradesh Neuroscientists Association from 2009 to 2012. (2012- 2015).
