Dr. Bibhas Ranjan Kundu

A consultant urologist with The Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI), Kolkata, is Dr. Bibhas Ranjan Kundu. In 2007 Dr. Kundu established the LASER unit at CMRI, and he is currently the department's head of division. More than 6000 LASER procedures for prostate and urinary stones have been completed by him successfully. Modern Lasers and Video Flexi URS equipment for treating all types of urinary stones are currently available in the unit. In addition to these minimally invasive procedures, reconstructive urologic surgery, such as urethra and bladder reconstruction, is Dr. Kundu's area of expertise. His expertise will be very helpful for patients with Prostatic enlargement, Cancer of the Kidneys, Bladder, and Prostate, Urinary Stones, Bleeding from the Urethra (Hematuria), and Urethral Narrowing (Strictures).
