Dr. (Col.) Subroto Kumar Datta

Dr. Datta is a graduate of the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune. Over two decades of his 37-year clinical practise has been spent on interventional cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. He has worked as a cardiology examiner for a number of institutions and the National Medical Board. He was Professor Head of Cardiology at Army Institute of Cardiothoracic Sciences AFMC Pune, Army Base Hospital Delhi Cantt, and Army College of Medical Sciences' Head of Medicine and Cardiology. He worked at the Delhi Heart Lung Institute, BL Kapoor, Mata Chanan Devi Hospital as a consultant in cardiology and electrophysiology (s). He has performed over 15000 interventional procedures, including 600 primary angioplasties, Over 1000 electrophysiology studies using non-fluoroscopic 3D electro-anatomic mapping and radiofrequency ablations in 2D, Cardiac resynchronization treatment, single and dual chamber pacing, HOT CRT pacing of the conduction system with His bundle/left bundle pacing.
