Dr. Gaurav Gupta

Dr. Gaurav Gupta is an American- and Indian-trained abdominal organ transplant (liver, pancreas) and HPB surgeon. From Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, he earned his MBBS and MS degrees. University of Pennsylvania, University of Pittsburgh, and UCLA all provided him with training in transplant surgery. They are all top-notch centres with a large volume. As a main surgeon, he has experience doing more than 300 liver transplants. He played a key role in creating three liver transplant centres from scratch in Mumbai and Maharashtra. He had worked for Fortis Escorts, the Wockhardt group of hospitals, and Apollo Hospital before joining Fortis Mulund.
