Dr Harit Chaturvedi

The Chairperson of the Max Institute of Cancer Care is Dr. Harit K Chaturvedi. He joined Max Healthcare in 2009 and has worked tirelessly to develop one of the country's largest and best cancer programmes. He has directed his team of over a hundred oncologists into the Disease Management Group (DMG) model, helping to position Max Institute of Cancer Care (MICC) as one of the most recognised brands in the oncology field, with a constant focus on specialism, clinical excellence, research, and academics.His reputation as a teacher and mentor stems from his ability to nurture emerging potential. He has participated in live surgical workshops, presented his work at national and international conferences, and has a number of peer-reviewed journal articles. Dr. Chaturvedi has served as President of national organisations such as the Indian Society of Oncology and the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology. As the first organising secretary of the Indian Cancer Congress, he displayed his ability to create a major vision and put it into action on a national level.
