Dr. Harshit Shah

As a surgical oncologist, Dr. Harshit Shah is connected to Fortis hospital. After earning his postgraduate degree in general surgery from the K. B. Bhabha Municipal General Hospital in Bandra, he pursued superspeciality training in Surgical Oncology at the Apollo Hospital in Ahmedabad. He is skilled at treating cancers of the gastrointestinal tract (oesophagus, stomach, colorectal), gynaecological systems (ovaries, uterus, cervix), breast cancer, including breast conserving surgeries and oncoplasty, urological systems (kidney, bladder, penis, and testis), and oral systems, including thyroid and salivary gland cancers. His surgical training includes radical procedures including cytoreductive surgery. His research and academic interests are focused on gastrointestinal, gynaecological, and breast malignancies.
