BIOGRAPHY

Imad Hashim Ahmad earned his M.B., Ch.B. from Mosul Medical College in Iraq in 1977. He later passed the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh's initial and final F.R.C.S. exams in 1979 and 1982, respectively. In 1986, he earned his F.R.C.S. in neurosurgery from the Edinburgh-based Royal College of Surgeons. He is currently a visiting surgeon at the Canadian Specialist Hospital and the Mediclinic City Hospital in addition to being a consultant spine and neurosurgeon at the Medical International Specialist Centre. He works at Dubai Medical College as an assistant professor of neurosurgery. He served as the Emirates Neurosciene Society's president. He currently serves as the AO Spine Middle East's education advisor. He serves as a reviewing editor for the Pan Arab Neurosurgery journal.
