Dr. Joydeep Chakrabartty

Dr. Joydeep specialises in the diagnosis, treatment, and overall management of haematological disorders such as leukaemia, myeloma, and others. He is also an expert in critical care medicine. Dr. Joydeep's primary research interests are in bone marrow transplantation (BMT), particularly mismatched high-end transplants for all conditions, particularly acute leukemias. He is also highly skilled in the laboratory diagnosis of haematological diseases. He has handled over 4000 cases to date. Dr. Joydeep has been instrumental in the development and successful operation of numerous bone marrow transplant departments throughout the country. He is also actively involved in research and is currently working on several projects. He has also contributed chapters to a number of textbooks. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians.
