Dr K J Reddy

He attended the AP Residential School Survail and the Nagarjuna Sagar-run APRJC. He won the 1980 batch of the EAMCET. graduated from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad with a degree in medicine. He was a gregarious student. He completed his postgraduate studies in orthopaedics at PGI, Chandigarh, one of India's top universities. He spent the next 14 years in the UK. After completing his FRCS General, he entered the Royal London and Saint Bartholomew Hospitals in London for his specialised orthopaedic training, where he earned his FRCS in orthopaedics from four Royal Colleges. Further training in joint replacement surgery was also received by him. He was one of the few people from India to receive a full FRCS Orth degree and be named chief of the joint replacement surgery unit in Basildon & Thurrock NHS Hospitals. Since 2003, when he joined the Apollo Hospitals Group in Hyderabad, he has worked extensively in joint replacement surgery. He received invitations to deliver guest lectures both in India and overseas. In several talks, he performed real procedures.
