Dr. Kamran Ali

Specializing in lung transplant surgery, Dr. Kamran Ali has more than ten years of experience. Dr. Ali was a member of the surgical team that performed the first lung transplant for COVID-19 ARDS in Europe and the second worldwide.

In addition to earning his DNB (Surgery) at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi (2013), he completed his MBBS at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, AMU, Aligarh (2009).

He is an American College of Surgeons fellow (FACS).

He holds fellowships in thoracic surgery from Seoul National University in South Korea (2016) and Medanta the Medicality in Gurgaon (2016). a traveling fellowship from the National Cancer Center (Japan), Tokyo University (Japan), and National Taiwan University Hospital (Taiwan), as well as a fellowship in lung transplant from the Medical University of Vienna, Austria (2020).

He has expertise caring for patients with chronic lung problems in the preoperative, intraoperative, postoperative, and general patient settings.

He is a distinguished member of the Indian Association of Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the Southeast Asian Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the Indian Society of Heart & Lung Transplant, and the Indian Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
