Dr. Mallikarjun Kalashetty

Dr. Mallikarjun Kalashetty is a haematologist at Bangalore's Manipal Hospital. He specialises in blood and marrow transplantation, as well as the treatment of haematologic illnesses such as leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, thalassemia, anaemia, and thrombocytopenia. He has also had publications published in national and international journals. Dr. Mallikarjun graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Belgaum with an MBBS and an MD in general medicine. He graduated with honours from Seth G S Medical College and K E M Hospital Mumbai with a DM in Clinical Haematology. He subsequently pursued a one-year Fellowship in Bone Marrow Transplantation at Vancouver General Hospital in Vancouver, Canada. On his return from Vancouver, he joined the HCG MSR Cancer Center and M S Ramaiah Medical College in Bangalore as a Consultant Haematologist in charge of the bone marrow transplantation programme, and he established a state-of-the-art stem cell transplantation programme as well as Clinical Haematology services.
