Dr. Mauricio Gomes Taborda

Dr. Mauricio Taborda holds both specialist degrees in periodontics and implantology from Brazil and is a certified implantologist in Dubai. Since 2006, he has only practised surgery, and he has attended postgraduate courses in the USA, Germany, France, and Hungary. In 2004, he finished dental school at the UNIPLAC-DF in Brasilia, Brazil, and enrolled there to start his first specialty programme in periodontics. After completing his periodontics degree in 2006, he enrolled in ABO-2-year DF's implantology programme in Brazil. The majority of surgical dental procedures are covered by Dr. Mauricio's expertise, including surgical extractions, removal of impacted wisdom teeth, removal or surgical exposure of other impacted teeth, surgical insertion of orthodontic bone-anchored appliances, periodontal surgical procedures, crown lengthening for gummy smiles, gingival grafts for root exposures, dental implant installations with required prior bone grafts, and sinus lifts. He also carries out implant installations using the all-on-4 and all-on-6 techniques for full mouth rehabilitation, starting with single unit cases. The most recent methods and tools are used in his treatment, including L-PRF protocols and 3D fully guided implant installation.
