Dr. Prabhu Nesargikar

Dr. Prabhu N Nesargikar is a Consultant Surgeon with international expertise in Oesophageal and Gastrointestinal Cancer Surgery, Peritoneal Cancer Surgery, Bariatric Surgery and weight reduction operations, Surgical Gastroenterology, Complex hernia surgery, and Endoscopic Surgery. He received his basic and advanced surgical training in the United Kingdom and afterwards served as a Consultant at National University Hospital in Singapore. He also completed a Fellowship in Gastric Cancer Surgery in Seoul, South Korea, and is presently practising at HCG Hospital in Bengaluru. He is one of the few surgeons that provides both laparoscopic and endoscopic treatments for illnesses such as reflux disease, Barrett's oesophagus, achalasia, and weight loss operations. He has written in several publications and delivered over 100 papers at conferences throughout the world. He has received several honours, including the "Young Investigator Award" at the ESOT Congress in Belgium, as well as accolades at the Japanese and Korean Cancer Congresses.
