Dr. Raj Devashis Chakravarty

Dr. Raj Devashis Chakravarty is one of those surgeons who believes in adopting cutting-edge and contemporary technologies to better patient care. He has achieved success executing both hip joints and both hip joints in a single session. Dr. Raj graduated from the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, with his MBBS in 1976 and his MS in orthopaedics in 1981. From the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom, he earned his M.CH. At the moment, Dr. Raj is employed as a Senior Orthopedic Consultant at Bangalore's Narayana Multi-Specialty Hospital in Whitefield. Dr. Raj is dedicated about training future orthopaedic surgeons in the art of joint replacement. He was one of the first surgeons in Karnataka to execute the Cruciate Retaining Mobile Bearing Highflex Knee, and he was also a member of the team that performed bilateral knee replacement in the same sitting for the first time in the state. Additionally, he was listed as a faculty member for Johnson and Johnson on both a national and international basis. Dr. Raj has a wealth of clinical experience spanning more than 35 years. Dr. Raj is a respected member of the National Academy of Medicine, the Indian Spine Surgeons Association, and the Indian Orthopedic Association.
