Dr. Ramaswamy N V

Dr. Ramaswamy, a Haematologist with nearly two decades of expertise, specialises in the treatment of malignant and non-malignant blood illnesses in patients of all ages. His research interests include haemato-oncology and stem cell transplantation. He got a Fellowship in Adult Haematology and an Observership in Paediatric Haemato-Oncology and Transplant from Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Canada. He also has a Doctorate of Medicine (DM) in Haematology from Madras Medical College and is a Diplomate of the National Board of Paediatrics (DNB). A Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Paediatrics from Government Medical College, Aurangabad, and an MBBS from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore, came before this. He was a Consultant Haematologist at Medical Trust Hospital in Kochi and a Resident Haematologist at Kuwait Cancer Control Centre, Kuwait's only tertiary cancer centre before joining Aster Medcity's Centre of Excellence in Oncology. As an Assistant Professor, he taught Paediatric Haematology at Sri Ramachandra Medical College in Chennai. Many medical journals have published his findings on highly specialised parts of cancer treatment.
