Dr. Ramesh Kumar Bapna

Dr. Ramesh Kumar Bapna is a Senior Director at the Medanta Heart Institute in Gurugram's Cardiac Surgery Department. Over the course of his 41 year career, he has conducted over 20,000 open heart procedures. Dr. Bapna specialises in minimally invasive aortic valve surgery, TMR (Trans Myocardial Re-vascularization), redo procedures (including third-time redo surgery), and radio-frequency atrial fibrillation ablation. He also specialises in instances including Redo, multiple valve replacements, bypass graftings, and ejection fractions of less than 30%, as well as combination procedures involving Redo, multiple valve replacements, bypass graftings, and ejection fractions of less than 30%. Dr. Bapna has completed advanced training at prestigious hospitals in the United States and New Zealand, and is a member of numerous societies and associations.
