Dr. Reetesh Sharma

Dr. Reetesh Sharma, Director and Head of Nephrology and Kidney Transplant Medicine, obtained his training in Internal Medicine at one of the country's top institutions (KEM Hospital in Mumbai) and Nephrology at Apollo Hospitals. He also received advanced transplant training at the Maastricht Hospital in the Netherlands, as well as ABO incompatible transplant training at the Tokyo University Hospital in Japan. Renal transplantation (including high-risk cases, such as blood group and HLA incompatibility), chronic kidney disease, and dialysis are among his specialties. Prior to this, he was a founding member of Medanta-the Medicity, which was founded in 2009. In 2008, he started dialysis treatments at the Fortis Escorts Hospital in New Delhi.
