Dr. Rishikesh Ramesh Pandya

Before joining Burjeel Medical City (VPS Group) Abu Dhabi, Dr. Rishikesh Ramesh Pandya worked for more than 7 years as a consultant and head of urology/uro oncology at a busy private hospital in Abu Dhabi. He will also be accessible for consultations at the Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi City. He has been a urologist for 20 years in total. Prostate diseases, uro-oncology (cancers of the urinary system), laparoscopic urological and reconstructive surgery, and the treatment of urinary stones using various minimally invasive surgical techniques like percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) ureteroscopy are among the conditions he primarily treats (Flexible and Rigid). He obtained his MBBS degree from the University of Mumbai. He completed a Fellowship in Uro-Oncology at the University of Toronto in Canada, where he also worked for four years to further his clinical and surgical skills in the field. Dr. Rishikesh has five years of international work experience in advanced uro-oncology and laparoscopic/robotic urology surgeries in nations like Canada, Austria, and the United States. He completed his fellowship in laparoscopic urology at the Elisabethinen Hospital in Linz, Austria, where he gained expert surgical skills for urological diseases including cancers of the urinary system like the prostate, kidney, bladder, etc. He established a programme for laparoscopic prostate surgery in Accra, Ghana (West Africa).
