Dr S. Rajasundaram

Prof. S. Rajasundaram is a well-known South Indian Surgical Oncologist with over 25 years of expertise. He is the Oncology Director of Gleneagles Global Health City in Chennai. He has successfully performed over 18000 major procedures, including complicated Head & Neck surgeries with micro vascular reconstruction, Laparoscopic GI & Gynaec - Onco Surgeries, and state of the art breast cancer surgeries such as Onco -Plastic Reconstruction and Sentinel Lymph node Biopsy. He has given several guest lectures at both the national and international levels. He has worked as a senior consultant for the past 20 years and has held numerous positions in academic institutes. He is a respected and active member of oncology organisations like as IASO, ISO, AROI, ESMO, OGGSI, IMA, and others. He developed the unique UNWAIT PHILOSOPHY in Gleneagles Global Health City with the goal of providing rapid and advanced care to our cancer patients with correct counselling by not extending the length of stay and commencing the therapy.
