performed around 5000 procedures for vascular access for haemodialysis, including installation of peritoneal catheters for continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis for renal failure patients, arteriovenous shunts, arteriovenous fistulas, and vascular grafts. has participated in eight Cadaver Kidney Transplant procedures as a patient at the PGI Chandigarh. have so far carried out more than 3000 kidney transplant procedures at various hospitals across the nation, including more than 1000 procedures at the nonprofit Mahavir Hospital & Research Centre in Hyderabad. a kidney transplant using an 18-month-old cadaver donor, which is thought to be the youngest cadaver donor in the nation, has been conducted. successfully transplanted two kidneys from a corpse donor who was 78 years old, making him the nation's oldest cadaver donor.
