Dr. Sanjay Chaudhary

Dr. Sanjay Chaudhary is the director and creator of the Eye7 Chaudhary Eye Centre group. He is a well-known cataract and refractive eye surgeon in Delhi and the National Capital Region. He has over 30 years of ophthalmology experience and has been at the forefront of surgical and technology advancements in eye care. In Delhi, he was one of the first to do LASIK surgery. In Delhi, he was also a pioneer of stitchless cataract surgery (phaco) and ICL (implantable collamer lens) technology for vision correction. For the years 2014, 2015, and 2016, he received honours for performing the most ICL treatments in India. In Delhi, he was the first to start doing femtosecond laser aided cataract surgery (FLACS). More than 3,000 eye doctors from across the world saw him perform the first live surgical demonstration of Femtosecond laser cataract surgery in India. He was also the first in India to introduce Contoura Vision for the removal of glasses, and he performed the first live Contoura Vision surgery in the country. He has done multiple live procedures at conferences and has given lectures on phacoemulsification and refractive surgery at regional, national, and worldwide conferences, as well as serving as a faculty member and chairperson. He's also contributed to a number of chapters in national and international publications and books.
