Dr. Sanjiv Agrawal

A reputable interventional cardiologist with over 25 years of expertise, Dr. Sanjiv Agrawal. He is capable of managing both single-vessel and multi-vessel CADs with elective and primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Additionally, he provides care for complex coronary lesions such chronic total occlusion and vein graft intervention. He has conducted over 16000 Angiographies and 5300 Angioplasties throughout his career, which spans over two decades and a half. He was the first in Asia to execute a multivessel angioplasty with five stents on a young patient. He is a fellow of the Indian College of Cardiology and a member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA). He has a strong interest in research and has published a number of articles in prestigious medical journals. In 1985, he pursued an MD in General Medicine at BJ Medical College in Pune after earning his MBBS from Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College and Sasson General Hospital in 1981. He then completed a DM in cardiology in 1990 at Christian Medical College in Vellore. The next year, 1994, he completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology in Melbourne, Australia. In 1996, he completed a second fellowship in interventional cardiology at Royal Victoria Hospital in the UK.
