Dr. S.Shanmugasundaram

Emeritus Professor of Cardiology Dr. S. Shanmugasundaram previously worked at Stanley and Madras Medical Colleges as an Assistant Professor and Professor of Cardiology. He currently works as a full-time consultant at Billroth Hospitals. He is an adult cardiovascular specialist with knowledge of coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathies, pulmonary hypertension, and heart failure. He has the skills necessary to conduct and interpret echocardiogram. He has demonstrated his proficiency in adult catheter closure of congenital abnormalities, angiography, angioplasty, valvuloplasty, pacemaker insertion, and other cardiac operations.
