Dr. Manohar T is a world-renowned urologist who specialises in performing laparoscopic surgeries for urological problems such as prostate cancer, PUJ blockage, renal malignancy, and others. He has completed over 700 laparoscopic surgeries and about 10,000 kidney stone treatments. Dr. Manohar is one of the few experts in the field of minimally invasive surgery for genitourinary tract problems such as stones, cancer, and reconstruction. Dr. Manohar is one of the few surgeons in the world who can do HoLEP (Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate) surgery on big prostates (weighing 100-350 gms) using a minimally invasive method. He is also actively interested in studies on recurring renal stones and the influence of PSA on prostate cancer and prostatitis.
He is now researching the epidemiology, aetiology, and PSA levels of prostate cancer in Indian males.
