BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Varun Malhotra earned his undergraduate degree in medicine from Topiwala National Medical College and BYL Nair Hospital in Mumbai. He then went on to earn his MS in ophthalmology from JJM Medical College in Davangere, which is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore. He then received his fellowship in cornea, anterior segment, and refractive surgery from the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya in Chennai. At the LV Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad, he completed the Sankara Netralaya Sir Ratan Tata Fellowship in Microincision Cataract Surgeries and was a Zeiss-Ophthalmic Diagnostics fellow. Additionally, he received his training from the subject-matter expert Dr. Rupal Shahin Refractive Surgery. In the past, Dr. Varun worked as a consultant for the AnandEye Institute in Hyderabad and the Pushpagiri Eye Institute in Secunderabad.
