Mr Colin Nnadi

The Portland Hospital of HCA Healthcare UK is home to Mr. Colin Nnadi, a consultant orthopaedic spine surgeon at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He received the FRCS (Orth) in 2006 after completing his specialty training in trauma and orthopedic surgery in the Wessex rotation of the UK. At the Norfolk & Norwich University Teaching Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, London, he later completed subspecialist training in spine surgery. Mr. Nnadi worked as a temporary consultant spine surgeon at the Queens Medical Center in Nottingham before relocating to Oxford. He presently serves as the Oxford Spine Unit's Lead Clinician. Mr. Nnadi is a specialist in both simple and sophisticated spinal surgery. He is particularly interested in early-onset scoliosis and spinal deformity in children and adults. He has done a great deal of research and writing on this subject for textbooks and peer-reviewed journals. He is also in charge of organizing the international Oxford Early Onset Scoliosis meeting. Mr. Nnadi serves on the European Spine Journal editorial board and reviews articles for some of the most esteemed journals in the industry. He has also served as the National Institute for Clinical Excellence's (NICE) expert medical technology adviser.
