BIOGRAPHY

The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and The Royal College of Surgeons of England both recognize Constantinos (Costas) as a Fellow. The Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland, the European Society of Vascular Surgery, and the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland are among the organizations he belongs to. He completed his training at Manchester Medical School and graduated in 1991. He completed his postgraduate training at St Mary's Hospital in London, Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Manchester. He has maintained a very busy clinical practice while serving as a Consultant Surgeon at St. Bartholomew's and The Royal London Hospitals since 2003. For conditions that affect circulation, such as varicose vein disease, carotid disease and stroke, aortic (abdominal and thoracic) aneurysms and dissections, diabetic and peripheral vascular disease, axillary and palmar hyperhydrosis, arteriovenous malformations, thoracic outlet syndrome, vasculitis, and Raynaud's disease, he is particularly interested in using new technologies for minimally invasive, endovascular, laser, and minimal access vascular surgery.
